Carefully researched site selection

As we all know, the location of a business is crucial to its success. Therefore we carefully research and select every Sign*A*Rama site analysing factors such as traffic patterns and client potential. Once all criteria are met and a location has been selected, we assist in negotiating your lease and your store fitting.

No prior experience required

As a result of one of the most extensive training programmes in the franchising industry, Sign*A*Rama franchisees are trained experts in business operation and production techniques. Our comprehensive 5 week programme includes various phases of training:-

A two week introductory training programme (including travel and hotel accommodation) at our Sign*A*Rama Centre for Entrepreneurial Excellence located at our corporate headquarters in West Palm Beach Florida, where you will learn all aspects of the business such as production management, marketing and sales processes.

A week of on-the-job training at an established Sign*A*Rama store in the UK, which allows you to put your classroom training to use and to learn from an experienced franchisee.

Two weeks of on-site training at your store with one of our experienced operations advisors who will assist in your store's setup as well as the implementation of our proven marketing programme.

Every global franchisee, whether a Master Licensee or otherwise, receives the same attention as our domestic owners. In fact, we have created a program tailored to fit the needs of those from other countries interested in SIGNARAMA. The program involves several key steps to help you get started:

Those interested in becoming a Master Licensee for SIGNARAMA are invited to the world headquarters in West Palm Beach, Florida to tour the facility and learn the basics of the signage industry. In addition, they will have the opportunity to tour a SIGNARAMA franchise and talk with existing owners. From there they return to their country to begin sourcing for suppliers, manufacturers and vendors.

After the initial Industry Discovery Tour, representatives from the world headquarters in West Palm Beach, Florida will travel to the interested country to finalize the Master Licensee's location and meet with suppliers.

Master Licensee training includes the same as all new franchisees plus additional training specific to their needs including individual training from the world headquarters' staff members on topics varying from financial planning to supporting a franchise system. After one year of franchising, the Master Licensee will return to the world headquarters for additional training including hands-on field support and franchise sales training.

The flagship location is typically the first SIGNARAMA location in a country and is owned and operated by the Master Licensee. As part of the process, we encourage our Master Licensees to operate the location for at least one year. During this time, the Master Licensee will gain a better understanding of the business and beginning putting an infrastructure in place for when they are ready to begin franchising.
